This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasnβt disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks
Artist's Description
Ganesha the most widely worshipped Hindu God. His image is found throughout India and Nepal. Worshipped as the Lord of Beginnings and Lord of Obstacles.
I love to paint Ganesha in a range of contemporary situations. This painting is a traditional one.
About Rupa Prakash
I am a self-taught artist.I trained myself so it is possible to do what I love. I didn't get an opportunity to study art in college.I learned some basics in my High school art class. That is the only training I can say I've ever had.In the tenth grade,I won a state-wide art contest and never looked back.Painting for me is an activity that gives me more pleasure and emotional/intellectual engagement than anything else I had ever come across, and that I could actually support myself doing so.
